The Compliance Officer for the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) has today published his Annual Report for the financial year 2014-15.
The report, which is located as a separate report within IPSA’s Annual Report and Accounts, can be found on IPSA’s website via this link, and provides information on the work of the Compliance Officer over the 2014-15 financial year. Previous years' reports can also be found on IPSA's website via this link.
During the year, the Compliance Officer handled 40 complaints, of which one resulted in a formal investigation, and conducted one review into a determination by IPSA not to pay a claim to an MP.

- The Compliance Officer for IPSA is an independent office holder, established as a separate public authority from IPSA under the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009, as amended by the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010.
- The Parliamentary Standards Act 2009, as amended, states: “As soon as practicable after the end of each financial year, the Commissioner must prepare and the Speaker must lay before each House of Parliament a report about the performance of the Commissioner's functions during that financial year”.
